Too much of a middle brawl right now I think, especially with the HQs so unprotected. One way to spice this up a bit could be putting the HQ where the 1b is and maybe BBoating it. The 1b could be moved to (12,03) and some of the mountains around there could be removed/replaced with forests to give the 1b some pathing choices.

I just suggested this off the top of my head, so there might be even better ways to fix the map.

So after testing this out again, it appears to me that there are only 2 contested cities initially now - (04,09) and (14,09). Contesting anything else would probably require a significant troop buildup so the game will likely stall, at least temporarily. I think the map could benefit from a more diagonal frontline and more cities near or on that line (if only to reduce unused space). So the base locations probably need some changes or the airport needs to be more forward so that it can threaten some opponent cities or the HQ once it is captured (maybe it's a good idea to put a Cruiser on the HQ if the airport is moved). I think the map has potential overall but getting the frontline and contested properties just right will probably require some more tinkering.

EDIT: 3rd review: Looks better, but I think there are too many back caps (or available caps in general) now - so building the first tank feels pretty bad when you'd rather want to keep pumping out Infantry. So I think it would be good if a few non-contestable cities/back caps were removed.
