I think this one lacks contested properties; putting several cities closer to / on the frontline should help with that. |

So after testing this out a bit more, I think the map has some issues: - HQ is too defensible as tanks from the (03,04) base can conveniently park on it within 2 full move turns. Also, the airport is closer to the weak side so defending the HQ with it is very feasible, too. - The Com Towers (and the airports, too, for that matter) aren't contestable (or can even be threatened) and the HQ is very defensible as I outlined. So the only targets you can realistically go for are cities. That should result in a rather slow game by default as there's no way for either player to make big gains somewhere on the map or to threaten important targets to force a response. So yeah, I think the map needs more of a weak side / strong side dynamic and better targets to threaten than just cities. |
