The only truly contested properties are the two in the middle. Almost all the other ones have too favorable of a reinforcement distance (taking into account 2bv1b for the corners) for one player. The comm towers look like they can be denied for a while, but I believe long-term they're too favorable for the 2b and having only shoals to interrupt from makes it impractical to continue to deny them. As a result, this design is likely to lead to both players all-inning the middle, then stalling. Note: The Hqs are also overly safe and really don't need a cruiser (or any blocker) with their current position. Edit: applies to an old version of the map. |

Middle area still looks a bit too valuable and safe to maneuver IMO. Maybe change (08,08) and (09,08) to sea tiles to limit maneuverability just a bit? Neither the Com Towers nor the HQ appear to be contestable, maybe that could be changed as well. EDIT: Upped to A-rank after changes - I think this one might work well for Live now |
