Pretty interesting. Deleting the APC instead of bursting the seam is likely viable as well.
EDIT: So after thinking this over again, I think deleting the APC should always be preferable since you can just grab the airport early and build a T-Copter to replace it. For this to be a meaningful choice, the unit on the airport would need to be more valuable (Rockets maybe).
