Original map by PikachuDX https://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=79998 I adjusted the terrain based on replays between 1000+ elo players and my experience on the map that favored P1's early recon. For FoW live play. This map was already very dynamic with many bangers so not many edits were needed. |

Still looks to be somewhat P1-favored to me - it maybe needs some slight funding rebalances so P1 can't chain Recon into tank to contest P2's airport. I think it would help if P1 had 1000 gold less on day 5 and/or if a few more roads were (re)moved. EDIT: Re-Newed after changes 2nd review: As far as I can see, a Recon from P1 can still scout and interrupt P2's airport capture - so I suggest removing the roads at (01,09) and (01,10) to slow down the Recon enough so P2 can definitely get their airport no matter what P1 does. EDIT: Re-renewed after changes 3rd review: So I don't think the P2's airport capture can be interrupted anymore, which is good. There still are two things that should be looked into IMO; No. 1 are the mountains - right now both players get free vision on the top and bottom fronts which can lead to stalling. I'd suggest you decide which player should have the free vision on which front and remove the other player's mountain(s). Another thing is the funding curve - I still think it gives an advantage to P1. A fix could be moving the (08,03) or (06,00) city further from the base or maybe removing them entirely - at least I think so? The aim should basically be that P1 has 1k less money on day 5 than they do right now. I also suggest breaking up the 3-chain of captures around the airport. EDIT: Re-Newed again EDIT2: Upped to A-rank since the FTA from the original map seems to have been fixed |
