I was worried about that a bit as well which is partly why I went with a double HQ for a faster start. Also was worried that the sides/backward corners would just get capped early and be pretty safe after. It’s decently high income and has a very late (or never) airport so I think a good balance of vehicles to inf will sort of be forced once it gets going. Hoping the fast start, likely early inf fighting, and higher income will make the map work out as intended. Need to see some games though. |

I would agree that it's likely too Inf-heavy. I'd say the corners are pretty safe since you can just wall them off with Inf/Mechs rather early and attacking into that head-on is likely a daunting task. Maybe it helps somewhat if the Com Towers (or at least one pair) come into play earlier and if a contested property is added at (19,12) - maybe with a forest/silo next to it - to further encourage early fighting. Though getting the corners to be actually contestable is another problem altogether. I think the map probably works if the units start dying fast enough, right now I don't quite envision that happening though. |
