You can use your black boat to help get early caps with infantry. However, if you do this early, as player 2 you MUST build a
day 3 recon to prevent HQ cap, and as player 1 you need a day 4 recon.

Moved to B-rank due to the HQ cheese possibilities. Maybe the BBoat could be moved to a shoal and the HQ could be protected by a 1HP Cruiser instead?

Sami can cheese the HQ by day 4 with minimal risk. If you have moved the BBoat off the HQ by day 4, you need at least 2 units within HQ range to prevent the cheese.
