I think if the 1b doesn't overextend (by going for the (05,09) or (10,04) cities for example) and focuses on the back caps, this map should play very same-y all the time as the only immediately contestable property is the 1b then; though the terrain around it makes it quite defensible (and if it really does come under threat you could always plop down a heavier tank). The (13,00) base can help defend the 1b, too, so if it doesn't get flipped, the map probably gets stally fast. I think if you really want to make this work you could try mixing the bases more so that more dynamic play is possible here. For example, if a player overinvests in the 1b, the opponent can go push elsewhere then which currently is not all that feasible. |
