Looks like this will probably be a damage race on the sides every time as you can remove (or maybe overload) the Carrier to defeat the 1b easily.

2nd review: If the 1b's trade, this could become stally as the vertical frontline is quite short due to the pipes. Also, the obvious strategy is killing the Carrier with indirects (or maybe overloading it still) - if the Carrier dies, the 1b is likely dead also.
