prediction: this will be in the next Global League rotation in September |

I always thought a map that relied on landers to deploy units from bases to the contested areas would be fun but it turns out that it’s just annoying |

Cadeor (11/17/2025 05:27pm):
In addition to the spy mechanic that absolutely undermines the whole fog mode, this feels like it should be a gimmick map more than a GL map |

OH MY GOD I CALLED IT (well not the september part but close enough I guess) |

Lander stuff is tedious. A good gimmick map to throw in every once and awhile. But bummer to play over and over again in GL |

FoxErrant (12/30/2025 05:53pm):
Not a big fan of this for GL. This seems like it may be more suited to one of the tourneys with weird rules, but even then it's just tedious |

Blue has a 54% win rate, something off about being P2 |

Okay so the concept is interesting. It would be a bit better with a bit more choices to land unit units, so that players can have minimal choice of where things land. It's not very fun to use transport if you're obliged to do from day 1 to day 30 the same trip every day. Shoals on the edge on the contested area sounds like great places to land, but the lander will never go there because the vehicule reenforcement is impossible without them. Also, the spy is very strong and very hard to kill (won't do it until day 16 and with invesment), but you're required to kill it cause it's hyper strong and cut the claws of you spyed side. The forest is specifically anoying. Spy can be nerfed by making it artillery- hitable of making it 2 move away from copters instead of 3. |

Jack DeHearts (03/05/2026 04:25pm | Edited: 03/05/2026 04:26pm):
Yeah map sucks. The landers don't have enough movement and you're always getting units stuck in the only places where you can put them. Some days you literally have to waste a turn by having only one space to put your units out. The pipe seam seems absolutely useless since it still takes 2 days to reach that area anyway. You need to build an APC to refuel the landers but the optimal movement puts them 8 spaces apart so you have to waste another day with your lander stuck doing nothing while you send your APC across the length of your base. If there wasn't a mountain by the useless pipe seam you could have a lot more options but as it is you have to play perfectly with lander movement or you're boned. Even putting the SE beach one square closer would alleviate a lot of these issues but as it is this map is a slog to play. Also P2 has a 55% win ratio. |
