Moved this to B-rank - I think there is a bit of STA due to the fact that the 2b where P2 is ahead will get a few more (safe) caps than the 1b where P1 is ahead - the 1b gets about 6-7 while the 2b gets about 10 (not counting the airport behind the pipeseam, but that is a potential +1). Also, the 2b gets a safe chain while the one the 1b gets (the Com Tower one) is not safe if you don't go for it immediately (though doing that means that you likely won't get at least one of the forward caps instead, so it's not really a net win). The 2-city-chain on the frontline isn't safe either. Since this is a map where the 2b is supposed to steamroll the 1b (or at least you can play it that way), this naturally gives a bit of an edge to the player that's ahead on the 2b - and this isn't really balanced out by giving the 1b captures that are a bit better. |
