(7/10): I think the look of the map is good and the overall feel of our game was fluid. It never felt like either of us was truly
stalling. I think the corners with the mountain ranges were big contention points and could remain uncaptured for a while if
played right by both sides.
Overall it was an above average type map. I'd play it again.

woah, a fog map with actual terrain? It looks really good.

I think there's a bit of STA here since the 2b gets quite a few more (safe) captures than the 1b.
Looks interesting otherwise - but the property layout could use major edits.

Review 2: Now I actually think the 1b gets more early caps since it is free to be pretty greedy early on. The funding curve lets P1 get away with an early Copter which might be problematic RPS-wise. It also could turn into a horizontal stall, though the likelyhood is probably not that big.

Still B IMO.

Review 3: Still not a fan of the property layout tbh, the 1b should be able to get both 2-chains on the side (or at least 2-3 of the properties in there) unless maybe if the 2b plays very aggressively which is ofc risky.
If the 1b can secure the side which seems somewhat likely, you're pretty much forced to center brawl (and the base layout kinda encourages that, too, I feel).

Still B for me.

Review 4: So when moveplannering this out, I still feel like the 1b1a has a somewhat easy time when trying to set up a defense behind the shoal tiles or maybe even grab the Com Tower and try to hold that with an Arty. The 2b has to spread itself a bit thin early on to grab as many properties as possible which also gives the 1b breathing room early (a bit too much perhaps). The flat frontline also does not help with alleviating the static feel of the gameplay. I think games on this map will likely be decided by who can secure/deny the Com Towers better.

So I think this could maybe work if a few of the river tiles are removed to alleviate the chokiness on the sides a bit and give the 2b some additional attacking angles. I'd think about removing the 00,04; 00,05 and 04,08 or 05,09 ones. The shoal diagonal from 01,05 to 03,08 I'd also replace with at least plains so the 2b gets better tiles to attack from. The towers could maybe be moved closer to the 1b (to 03,06?) to make them less centralizing.

A different issue is that the HQs are way too safe as you need to push past the 1b1a (and the 13,00 base as well probably since that one can send units to the center) to realistically threaten them.

Review 5: I think it's getting there now, although the frontline could use more contested properties. When I moveplanner'd it, the (initial) frontline was roughly 22,03 to 00,14. So considering that, large swathes of it are empty. So here's what I'd do:
- Add contested city at 01,14
- Move 03,10 city to 04,12 or 04,11 or thereabout
. Maybe add 1 or 2 more contested cities where they make sense, Maybe add city chains to the contested corners to make them more attractive targets.
- Rework the center cities slightly since currently they make center brawling very attractive as they are the first line of contact for the opposing armies (and the only readily contestable properties at all) at the moment. So I'd try moving 09,09 to 10,10.
