The areas bordered by pipes are a bit too chokey to be conflict zones. Narrow pathing will make blocking much easier and encourages both sides to set up indirect combats around the area in order not to lose. You can still do it, but probably ease up on the mountains a little bit and opt to use forest more around the pipes unless it's a spot you don't want units in. Aesthetics, however, top notch. I love the thematic sea tiles arranged to represent lakes and the use of mountain tiles at the sides of the map as flavor. Just probably have to loosen up the chokepoints a bit more in order to encourage a more dynamic playthrough. |
