This could be interesting but i feel like the home planets on the edges are so far away this would just end so incredibly slow to
actually do a game on. I am curious and ill try out the game thats currently up but i would be interested to see a version of this
with the home planets maybe a little closer? or maybe have each one start with a black boat?

I think you're probably right. I was going for the aesthetic look of the void of space, but I think I'm going to shrink the map by 2
spaces on each axis, and enlarge the center "planet" a bit, after playtesting. Or maybe even enlarge the homeplanets rather
than the center one, we'll see how things go.
