I think the center properties need some rearranging. Currently, if both players cap the Com Tower early, you get BABA tank order (so P2 can get the tower early and P1 cannot if they want a decent tank order - which is a problem since the towers are very contested). So my suggestion would be to move the towers (maybe the map even works if they aren't all that contestable or not contestable at all). This would also break up that long center chain which might not be bad either (or it might, not sure). The airports also are fairly strong since they can defend a lot of properties within 1 turn, so pipe(seam)s at 14,13 and 15,14 would help with that. The towers could maybe be moved to 00,00 if the pipes are added? EDIT: Re-Newed after changes |

2nd review: Turns out that the airport is rather contested now which likely will not lead to good gameplay - because getting one airport yourself and denying the opponent the other one is a rather strong win con that might overshadow everything else (especially if you can get the airport that was supposed to go to your opponent). So I can think of two options atm to remedy this: Removing the airport completely (as I suggested earlier) or turning this into Base Light and moving the airport to 00,08 while blocking its center access off with pipes. If the airport is removed, there is no counter to BShips though so maybe some small terrain edits are needed to nerf them a bit. |

One more change and I think this is probably good to go for an A-rank tryout. The 08,06 city should imo be moved or removed as it currently causes STA/wrong tank order because P2 is able to attack a P1 Inf and force repairs to change tank order to BABA in at least some scenarios. P1 can make the same attack but it does not change tank order. I think removing the two problematic cities is probably the best course of action. B-ranked for now. EDIT: Upped to A after edits. |
