Latest version is ABBA tank order and ABAB artillery order. Not enough funds to build artillery in the middle of ABBA (good). |

The ABAB Arty order looks like a problem since P1 has the option of getting an Arty+Arty+Tank chain to threaten unlocking an airport (preferably the one where the closest P2 base is behind). Dealing with the 2A1T chain + 1 Infantry blocker is pretty hard even with a triple tank chain, so it does look like P1 has an edge here - and if they manage to unlock the airport, P2 is really in trouble. P2 could also try unlocking an airport instead of trying to counter P1 but it still does feel like P2 is only reacting to what P1 does and always kinda behind, at least in some lines. Unlocking the airports is perhaps a bit too centralizing as an objective overall. There's also a lot of empty space in the center. Still, it seems like a fun map otherwise. 2nd review: I think the frontline terrain needs some work - currently it is mostly properties surrounded by low-def tiles which makes city-sitting quite strong. So it's not that interesting overall. 15,11 also seems a bit gratuitous as it is such a good full-move parking spot for tanks. It also is surrounded by low-def tiles so the city-sitting isn't even that punishable. I'll do another deep moveplanner test once these issues are addressed. EDIT: Re-Newed after changes |

3rd review: Maybe the map still focuses too much on unlocking the airports. But we'd need test games to determine that for sure, so this should be good for an A-rank-tryout. |
