What I see is the near impossibility of defeating an entrenched foe. There's just not enough properties outside of the "Castles" to overcome the obstacles. I would suggest reducing the number of factories you start with, and moving more properties outside of the castles. I think that a castle should probably just be your HQ, some pipe-seams and a few cities. It will be resistant to attack, but to defend it, you will have to actually move troops in fromother areas. The map is a good concept, and very artfully done (aesthetics ftw!), but it is lacking in terms of "Something to fight over". If you're all better off just staying at home, then you don't get much game, or just the adventurous get punished. |

This maps not only imbalanced, but it has mountain/wood clumps, and it's extremely base heavy. |

I'll start off by saying that BH and TG are stuffed. They have 5 armied close to them while the others only have 2 or 3. |

The players that go first should be in the middle rather than at the sides. This will counter thier first turn advantage. |

Here is an idea. Why not dump properties on the sides for the edge olayers to squabble over while the center players (with FTA) set up their defense and launch an attack. I would also suggest making more defensive cover for the center terrain-wise, at least plains or something. |

There is one unique point about this map, and I'm not sure if it was done intentionally. The format of this map makes it so that the corner countries, although they have less enemies, are not able to capture any of the bases outside of their castle. The side countries, are able to get a few, and the center ones, dealing with the most pressure, can get most of the bases. This would be a good thing however each country already starts with 4 bases, so there's no real advantage over having a base outside your castle. When you change it, try to put more emphasis on base location and perhaps more/less properties depending on location (less on outside, more in middle), that way people will actually want to play in the center Not a bad map, this has potential |

Thanks Khdou. I took your advice and added more of my own thoughts. I rearranged the countries so being in the middle will not be over whelmed. I also got rid of outside properties and added more in between each "castle". And I've add pipe seams into each castles outer wall, seeing if this adds any kind of depth towards invading a castle. |
