Doghealer66 (09/29/2006 02:05pm | Edited: 09/30/2006 08:42pm):
NOTE: Because of the pipes, I highly reccommend a Grit ban on any games played on this map. However, as indirect firing units are an essiental part of this map's strategy, DO NOT ban them. This is the second map I've made so far. Don't simply jump to conclusions on first sight on this map: It's fairer than you think. Although I reccommend that Green Earth and Yellow Comet players be a little more skilled than the other two, because they might be under a little more pressure than Orange Star and Blue Moon. First of all, notice that you must destroy exactly 5 pipe seams to gain access to another player's HQ 'square', no matter where you are. This way, each team should spend about the same amount of time getting to one another, making plenty of time for property capture. Well, that's about all I have to say. If enough people ask for it, I might change it around so that there's four more 'squares' on the bottom giving Orange Star and Blue Moon easy access to each other, much like Green Earth and Yellow Comet do. But I'll have to get a few requests and see that Green Earth and Yellow Comet are losing more often. It's like a beta map, not sure how it will go. I try to balance things, but nobody's perfect. P.S. Yes, I know that Green Earth and Yellow Comet are able to get each other with artillery and rockets. It's just something to keep it fair. Any other layout messed up the pipe seam layout and made it easy for piperunners to be cut off from the rest of the map. And I did not rate my own map. |

Add forests or roads. |

Ah, crud. You're right...I was completely immersed in deciding what properties go in which square and their positioning...that I forgot about all else. Everyone, please don't play on this map. I have a current testing game going on now, and once it's done, I will add roads and forests. Maybe even a mountain or two. |

I still do not see the forests and roads. |
