There's not enough money to go around or for any one player to really do anything worthwhile. The neutral properties on each starting location are too spread out (4 or 5 days to get to your first property is no way to play a game of AW), and there's WAY too many choke points. If you're going to for a recreation, you've got a few too many details missing. There's too many forests, and the bases aren't supposed to be surrounded by mountains... also, the stretch of land going to BD's base should go north a little sooner. Also, a Starcraft player would never structure his buildings like that... with a base over here and another all the way on the other side, out of the way of the action, with an airport off somewhere else... it would have some organization. If you're only going for a decent game of AW, then the properties that each player's going for are way too spread out and seemingly uneven (why doesn't OS have a neutral city to go after). With the map being so big and airports being readily available, it makes for a tcopter rush map... since the bases are so far away from the HQs, you could hold them off while you take an HQ or two. There's no sense in going through the middle, as the number of properties don't make it worth it. Unless you're grit with an AA or two, going through every choke point is going to be an uphill battle because they're easier to defend then fight through. That, coupled with the lack of funds, make this basically a very unfun map to play. 3/10 |

I say place ALOT more properties especially in the middle. like Christ said, if there's not alot to die for, going for the middle is pointless unless your grit. also, the properties around the HQ's... definently need more, and less scattered. if you did that I bet this would be one of the funner maps to play on |

... Really, guys, if funds is your only complaint, you CAN make it 5,000 per city... I do agree it needs more properties, but there ARE alternatives. |
