put BM infantry on its starting base or get rid of the OS infantry. (for FTA ballance) |
GameMusic (10/29/2006 07:45am | Edited: 10/29/2006 08:06am):
I guess moving the infantry up would give BM more options, so that OS doesn't set the strategy of the game. |

staring at this map for too long makes me feel crazy :/ |

6/10. Most ppl are prob'ly going to downvote you b/c of OS infantry on HQ even with the neutral city (not enough funds to matter so much), but if you play this map on FoW this is completely negated IMO. On turn two if BM saved up last turn can buy a recon for an earlly advantage. A good map, but not amazing. |

I think a map test is in order, its hard to tell if this is balanced or not. I would definatley say this map is balanced if both players are sami, but if not that is questionable. |
GameMusic (10/29/2006 10:54pm):
Here's how it works: The FTA balance is 1 city and 1 square extra on the BM infantry. Both sides can use their infantry either to capture or to interfere with a capture. You also might use your infantry to get on the mount in in FOW. That's 3 different uses for the startng infantry, and the choice that OS makes doesn't force BM to be locked into any strategy. Neither side can take the base uncontested if the opponent fights them for it (unless they're Sami, Sturm, or Kanbei). |

Looks fair enough now. |
