Hans Lemurson (11/01/2006 07:47pm):
This map is another one that was created for Battalion by one of the forumers there (ikillkenny). It's one of the ones that I felt would best adapt to Advance Wars, and gives a fun and exciting game. Who controls what part of the map is very ambiguous, and the presence of close air-power will probably make holding a chokepoint difficult (vulnerable artillery, and such). Now, I'm not sure exactly how well it will fare in AWBW, since I have only been able to test it against the AIs in AW2, but it seemed reasonably solid then. I have attempted to balance FTA by making the city underneath OS's starting Infantry owned by BM. I am not sure if this will be enough, or if some actual positional-balancing would be requuired. CO Bans: The 4(Colin, Hachi, Grit, Kanbei), and Sensei (OMG copters and Inf/Mech!). |

I'm sure that the BM citie isn't enough to balance FTA, take the tanks off, then maybe it'll be balanced. |

Ok, tanks gone. (they were in the original map, but it will have to adapt) |

Theres a few chokepoints, but overall the maps still good 9/10. |

I know I'd rather be BM than OS. Too much STA. Suggested balance: Put the early BM city closer to OS's starting base. That way, OS gets some semblance of choice. As it is now, the OS infantry has to capture the BM city or else BM gets 5000 extra funds. Even if OS captures the city, BM gains the advantage due to an earlier base (by two days, if I calculate correctly). |

No there isn't to much STA I'll play you as OS anytime. Message me. |

Hmm...what effect do you think it would have if I turned the middle waterway into a river? Good things? Not so good things? |
