If you have the same problem that I have and only see seas, but see plains and mountains
and stuff on a closer look, then I guess it´s a bug.

The people of Terrin Valley has always been happy. The soil is rich, the valley quiet and the
air is clean. The best crops and meat comes from this valley. The food is so famous, that
four armies decides to conquer it and all the good food!

I tried to balance FTA, but without starting buildings, it´s hard. I placed some forest in the
way for BM and OS, and placed the infantries a bit farther away from the center. Don´t
know if it worked.

And those plains inside the pipes are supposed to be fields.

Please tell me how to improve, I´m still new to map making.

It takes a while for the map itself to refresh after saving; it's a bug in AWBW - but when you
publish it, we can see it nicely.

It's an interesting start to the map - you have to play very skillfully or else you'll be edged
out. After that.... well, I'm not sure if the bases are too close in the middle (destroy
whatever the other person built that turn with units that are already deployed and send a
Mech over to capture the enemy Base with great justice). Also, the map is rather narrow
and Artillery units will become nightmarishly efficient here.

For a first map, it's not bad.

It´s not my first map, it´s my third. Thanks for the tips though. I try to open up some more
space to move around and remove the bridge between the two bases.

Edit: Ok, I moved the bridges near the middle away from the bases a bit and removed some
mountains and destroyed some pipes. I just got two questions:
1.Did I balanced the FTA?
2.Isn´t it going to be a pain in the neck to protect the Hq from being captured while
conquering the middle?

And to the one that scored a 6, thanks!

1. FTA is nightmarish to fix on this map. It may be about as good as it gets as it is as far as
first-turn advantage is concerned, but I wouldn't want to play as OS...

2. Only if the armies that eventually get the bases are on the same side of the map.
Whichever countries don't get the bases may as well give it up. If the two victors are
diagonally across from each other, then you'll each have half the map to yourselves. If the
two victors are side-by-side, then whoever can use Infantry to block off the path to the
enemy HQ (stalling the enemy reinforcements) wins.

The major problem is still that the bases are so close to each other, though... I mean, any
Infantry unit can still cross that river, which for its part will be saturated with the blood of
footsoldiers trying to kill whoever dares to defend the other bases. Three squares of pipe
(laid horizontally) will fix the problem at risk of uglifying your map IMO...

Also, you can fix the pipe seams.

Ok, I put some pipes between the bases. It´s a tunnel.
And when you say fix pipe seams, do you mean destroy them or make pipes of them?

okey,ill admit it. yiiiiiiiipe!!!!!
