Blue Moon has to many Cities in the first rounds...

Very unbalanced map. BM has major advantages.

BM is closer to more cities than OS and those cities are easier (and cheaper) to reach via
road.

This map is very balanced though this doesn't look so. You'd better play with your rival in
each side! This is one of the best maps to have decisive battle.

The point of strategy is two thin road and a little closer properties to BM.
Two thin road makes us annoy land unit deploymental balance.
And each players have difficulties to diffend own properties because OS has sparce
properties and BM is annoyed by OS central airport.

When I had played this map against Black Mont-Blanc by each side by same CO (and I have
lost all games), the distance to cities is appropriate to alleviate FTA. OS can obtain upperside
base and center airport but monetary balanced.
If BM take central airport back, OS can easily deploy missile to make it unavailable (and easily
OS can take back then) though BM can't attack by missle from bottomside island.
The issue is depend on the bases.

Winner is who can play better in land deployment I think.

If you guys haven't noticed, this map is obviously made for nostalgia purposes, it
obviously wasn't made for balance reasons. If you ever played the first advance wars and
fought the bonus mission "Rivals" after the final battle with Sturm, you would know where
this map came from.
Though yes, this map could be playable if orange star were given infantry closer to the
cities across that lake.

even for nostalgia purposes, this isn't an exact replica, green earth had infantry on the 2 middle
factories and the airport, tho they weren't captured yet, but this can still be played for a good
game as it is quite balanced
