AlodoFox (01/11/2007 09:29am | Edited: 01/11/2007 09:50am):
I never get any real interesting ideas... just the regular ones. Whatever, just like most of my other maps, this one is quite small, quite chokepointy everywhere and filled with terrain. I dunno, everytime I want to eliminate chokepoints I suddenly create an area that's WAY too easy to go through... and then I go back to the first version. @_@ However, there are always some people who like "regular" maps, so here is another one. (yay!) At first I didn't put anything in the lakes at the corners... but then I just put those comtowers there. Thought about putting labs there instead... but stood with comtowers, since they're so... comtower-like. ^~^"" EDIT: Um... is it just me or does it show nothing but sea in the preview? EDIT2: Everything is okay now... it will be a mystery forever. oO |

You have a 3.5:1 property to base ratio so expect a considerable amount of infantry flooding to occur in this map. |

gotta add that neutral city below the right airport. |

I'd move that starting infantry. |

... Woah, this thing still exists? (Kinda forgot about this whole page for quite a while there) Sorry bout that city oversight to the few people who played this thing over the years. Fixed that thing finally. The infantry suggestion I don't quite get though. Is it in a bad spot? |

Yes, it still exists :) As far as the infantry is concerned, it's generally accepted that the best place to put the FTA counter infantry is on the base responsible for capturing the neutral base. Assuming your map is designed perfectly (is that even possible?), it wouldn't matter which base you put the infantry on because each one would have equal importance to the overall battle, but the convention is to do as described above. |
