this almost looks familiar.......... :P |

Needs more reefs. Also, I think you may have overdone the FTA counter. |

Wow, nice. I agree with nerd-boy; since you won't be able to capture anything for a while and you don't even start off with properties, the FTA counter is overdone. Also, I don't like the non-capturable HQ's in such a sprawling map. This looks very fun, though. |

one thing from me. Why does YC have 2 cities and OS have no cities to start with? I take that each army has 2 properties to start with (1 HQ & 1 city). Otherwise, a great map. |
ChristIsFreedom (05/26/2008 05:01pm):
The extra cities are meant to be an FTA counter. 1 extra city for BM / GE and 2 for YC. It would be up to the opposite country to go to that island sooner rather than later to stop them from getting the bonus. It's meant to be a big sea battle map, so even 10k extra isn't going to get you a lot (half an extra ship over the course of a game this long). I have a few test games waiting to start so we'll see if the bonus hurts more than helps. Thanks for the 10s and feedback so far. |

after the game played as YC, i think the FTA-Counter is too strong. YC can build more blackboats earlier in the game than OS, and so can spread out earlier to get more islands. You may try 2 infantries for YC. the capture the first island faster, and then the FTA-counter is over, because every other nation has now a factory to build inf. 8/10 |
