Good sea map. Seriously...should have higher ratings.
ColdFocus2 (10/23/2007 09:10pm):
very true, i like the terrain balance and the fact that there is more complexion to the plot than
a headlong fight against the opponent due to the chokepoint. I feel like this deserves a ten if
any map ever will. People are so often rating maps as nines just because it doesnt have
some eccentric setup. 10/10

This map is prone to stalemate, but I still like it.

I like stalemates.

Stalemates? When you can use Subs to gain Naval superiority? Not on my watch.
blanci1 (09/07/2008 10:02am):
well theres not many simple smallish maps with significant naval ... which this could involve
in a close game ... so at least its a bit different and perhaps its good its in A even though it
appears a bit B-ish (good 1v1) .. the 7.4 average rating isnt soo high -- i hope it encourages
more naval ( compare " practice run" by conren ...which looks even worse,, but again at
least it is somewhat unusual --though its a mystery why naval is so under-represented??)

--the HQ island defensive predeployeds is a neat .........
--Isnt there a little sta? cant BM grab the centre (getting his centre city and interfering with
opponents similar capture? perhaps put the counter inf on the forest above its advanced
base?
sulla (09/22/2008 03:38am):
Why is this A ranked? Its just not that good sorry.
rast2 (12/04/2008 11:46pm):
This is still in the leagues? :(
walkerboh01 (05/20/2010 07:55pm):
I can't say I really like this map. Battle in the middle tends to turn into a stalemate as each side defends their cities
with arties and infantry shields. Attacking is discouraged as the defending side can easily reinforce their lines with
units from the nearby base. Meanwhile the island property fight turns quickly into a naval battle, which isn't very
intense due to the relatively low funds available. It's a good concept, but falls a little short for me. 7/10
