Here's the new version of the map. Overall, not much has changed, except It's now completely symmetrical, and has an FTA counter. |

There are a few problems with this map that can be easily fixed to lead to more interesting games. 1. There needs to be more properties. With the current amount of properties, the game takes upwards of 10 days before anything interesting happens, due to its size. More properties, especially where the fronts are, will speed up the capturing stage and encourage players to expand faster. 2. There needs to be a bridge or shoal crossing the river so that units besides infantry and mechs can get in there. As it is now, the middle turns into a useless infantry fight, which neither side is going to win if they don't play poorly. I would suggest one or two bridge tiles on each side, probably where the lone mountain in the middle is would be best. 3. The ports are more or less useless right now. Blackboats and landers would cost more money than APCs and take longer to get to the fronts, and no one is going to save up for a battleship until maybe the very late stages of a win. Adding more properties will help, and maybe moving them closer to the fronts would be beneficial to gameplay also. I would also suggest adding in an airport, due to the size and relatively heavy terrain of the map, although if you want to keep it a land-naval battle that would be fine also. I would say 7/10 as it is now, although if the changes are made, I don't see any problems with the map. |

Map has been updated. Changes: -more properties -central area: accessible by bridges, more properties, more navigable terrain -each country had one port moved to be very close to one of the fronts -each gets a predeployed black boat on the side where the port wasn't moved -slight choke point reduction at a few places |
