READ THIS BEFORE RATING OR COMMENTING!!! Someone will always win by day 4 unless someone is stupid XD Day 1 =============== OS ----- Move Stealth on the top or bottom path as far as it will go and cloak BM ----- Move Mech West Move Fighter as far as it can go in top or bottom path If BM picked the right direction then they will see the Stealth Day 2 =============== OS ----- If Fighter is not blocking then move another 6 squares and attack pipe seam If pipe seam is destroyed then move Infantry and begin capturing HQ If Fighter is blocking way, you are screwed. Good day =P BM ----- Move Mech West Attack OS Stealth if you can or do whatever you want If OS Stealth is already attacking or destroyed the pipe seam there is no way you can win unless OS is an idiot. Start praying XD you might as well resign at that point Day 3 =============== OS ----- If pipe seam is not yet destroyed destroy it, assuming you weren’t blocked by BM’s Fighter Move Infantry and begin capturing BM’s HQ if you have not done so the previous turn BM ----- Move Mech West and start capturing OS’s HQ Do whatever you want with Fighter Day 4 =============== OS ----- Finish capturing HQ and win!!!... unless you failed because the Fighter was in your way =P BM ----- If OS didn’t capture your HQ yet, it must your lucky day =D Finish capturing OS’s HQ and win!!! XD And the beauty of this map is that no FoW is required and Sturm doesn’t have to be a ban. If BM decides to wait in the middle then it will be impossible to prevent OS from winning. If OS decides to wait in the middle then there is no way he can capture the HQ in time (unless there is a CO capable of breaking a pipe seam in one turn with a Stealth, which I doubt there is, but let me know if I’m wrong). The little walkthrough of how this map works might be confusing… just try playing it. You don’t have to change any of the rules or anything, just play it and you’ll see how it works (I hope). |

Did you base this off of Nyvelion's "50-50 chance" map? |
thecooltodd (07/27/2007 08:55pm):
No... I based this off of my Heads or Tails map. |
thecooltodd (07/27/2007 08:56pm | Edited: 07/27/2007 08:58pm):
Arghhh... I hate it when it double posts... |
Darth Hawke (07/27/2007 10:10pm):
There's no way for OS to win, unless your feeling...lucky. |
thecooltodd (07/27/2007 10:37pm):
Yes there is. In this game I would have won: http://awbw.amarriner.com/game.php?games_id=59359 Oh and btw, in out game it also looks like I'm gonna win... =P Both players require luck to win, which is the point of the game. |
umqan (07/27/2007 10:37pm):
horrible map. almost as horrible as ur skill |
Alathon (07/27/2007 11:25pm):
Couldn't the stealth (after destroying the pipe seem) kill the BM mech? |
sirfuxalot (07/27/2007 11:31pm):
It does not matter at that point either way. |
Nyvelion (07/28/2007 06:10am):
Why does the OS fighter have to move day 1? It could wait until one of the pipe seams takes damage, then move next to the stealth, then kill it next turn, or otherwise just block the way. Do what I did in my map that you copied this idea from, make the player choose on day 1, by putting an anti-air unit right behind the fighter. |
FunkyChunk (07/28/2007 11:02am):
If Blue Moon just sits there with the fighter and waits for the stealth to attack a pipeseam, it will take one day to discover the hidden stealth and the fighter will have to wait another turn to attack. By the 2nd turn, the fighter may be able to destroy the stealth, but the pipeseam will already have been broken and OS will win by HQ capture. |
FunkyChunk (07/28/2007 11:03am):
Also, I'm assuming by "OS fighter" you mean "BM fighter", because that seems to make more sense. |
thecooltodd (07/28/2007 12:53pm):
"horrible map. almost as horrible as ur skill " You, be quiet. I'll battle you if thats a challenge. "Couldn't the stealth (after destroying the pipe seem) kill the BM mech? " Ok... here's what I discovered: NO CO CAN DESTROY THE PIPE SEAM IN ONE TURN. Therefore it doesn't matter because it WONT be able to move far enough to reach BM's Mech. And even if it did, then that would mean OS is already capturing the HQ. And yes FunkyChunk, that is correct... if Nyvelion *coughcough* had been reading the first post she would have known. |
Nyvelion (07/28/2007 01:08pm | Edited: 07/28/2007 01:12pm):
no, you're wrong. Maybe if you actually LOOKED AT THE MAP, you'd see that I'm right. If you're going to completely rip off my map idea, at least do it right. |
isuck (07/28/2007 01:34pm):
If BM Fighter doesn't move on the first day then on Day 2 BM fighter will move towards wherever they see the damaged pipe but won't be able to attack in that turn. Look at this game: http://awbw.amarriner.com/game.php?games_id=59359 BM realized he lost already. And no I didn't rip off your map idea, I made my game Heads or Tails before even seeing your map and I just improved it. I'll set up a battle if you want to show you that if you don't move on the first turn you lose if you're BM |
dragonrider1 (07/28/2007 06:10pm):
horrible no skl and luck only .what a weaklng |
thecooltodd (07/28/2007 09:57pm):
ITS A GAME FOR FUN. >_> If anyone thinks I don't have skill set up a battle and message me. I'll join |
Nyvelion (08/01/2007 04:22pm):
I don't think that's what he meant. He meant that this particular map doesn't test skill, not that you don't have it. |
isuck (08/03/2007 01:38am):
Then what does dragonrider mean by "what a weaklng"? |
DuelStriker (08/03/2007 09:13pm):
He's challenging you tct >_> |
Albert (08/07/2007 08:31am):
You can tell where the stealth went by checking the log. |
thecooltodd (08/08/2007 11:24pm):
Can you really check that? Hmmm.... I better test that really quick. |
isuck (08/08/2007 11:26pm):
Dammit... you're right. You can check the log... how stupid is that? |
Creepy Crawly (08/13/2007 07:16pm):
