Interesting. Has some balance issues though.
Bahamut_Elementz (08/02/2007 06:58pm):
Romance of Three Kingdoms is also Dynasty Warriors.
Blue=Wei
Green=Shu-Han
Red=Wu
Black=Dong Zhou
Brown=Nanman
Teal=Ma Teng
Yellow=Yuan Shao
Orange=Gongsun Zan

Hmmm so I tried for a balance in territories so i ended up having the teams next to each other
have 2 bases and a bunch of cities near them. The teams on the outside dont have as much
cities to capture to make it a little more fair. Green seems a little riged, but eventually a team
will take over another in the top of the map and will move down, so its not really that rigged.

History Lesson-yay
If you know anything, red vs blue vs green. You can see i over exaggerated the great river
to maybe have a naval fight between blue and red. Teal's recon are meant to be Ma Teng's
superior calvary, but its not very fast cuz of no roads so eventually theyll come out and kill.
Black holes capitol is Luo Yang, surronded by Hu Lao Gate. Brown has mech as the
Nanman were known for strong soldiers so i guess that worked. Note im not sure about the
balance so tell me what to fix ok thanks and im surprised if you read this far O_o
DuelStriker (08/02/2007 07:25pm):
Well first, I need to know if there's teams.
Bahamut_Elementz (08/02/2007 07:49pm):
Eh, i dont think its good for teams cuz everyone in the central plains(upper right) would be all
bunched up grabbing territory from each other, but give me your advice if it was a team
game which teams should be with each other
tst5381 (08/02/2007 09:35pm):
I think you made many mistakes of the geography of the ancient China. For example, Where
is the Yellow River?
Bahamut_Elementz (08/02/2007 10:31pm):
lol i didnt get that technical. I just followed the novel and the only real sea battle was on the
great river.
Evil Mastermind (08/03/2007 06:44am):
It looks pretty accurate, well done.

Im not sure about balance issues though
DuelStriker (08/03/2007 06:49am | Edited: 08/03/2007 06:49am):
It's very unbalanced w/o teams then. It's just the PD units for each army that make it
unbalanced.
Evil Mastermind (08/03/2007 10:07am | Edited: 08/03/2007 10:10am):
Hmm... i can see all those GE infantry causing problems, BH are screwed YC and AB will be
fighting from the start, BM have a great oppertunity to take BH and eventually YC and AB, TG
have a bad starting position with few bases.

in the end its going to be OS GE and BM... or Wu, Shu and Wei... just like the novel.

But thats kinda bad in a map.
Bahamut_Elementz (08/06/2007 04:30pm):
So would it be better without predeployed units?
Xe (08/23/2007 02:59pm):
Um, Ma teng never had superior calvary. He had great calvary generals, but Gongsun Zan
had the best Calvary. (White Riders)
Bahamut_Elementz (08/25/2007 10:08pm):
ooops orange isnt really gonsun zan, its more gongsun Du but no one knows who gongsun
du is. hes the guy who rules the little tip for the longest time after gongsun zan is already
killed. Well ma teng has good calvary generals so same difference, imma re edit this map and
try to make it more better
