SGD (08/07/2007 07:01am | Edited: 08/07/2007 07:06am):
When i made this map, i had just finished re-reading the Battle Of Minas Tirith. the best and greatest fight in the whole series. The Last Stand of the Men. This map comes with a few things you might want to note. For the fortress: 1)The piperunners are your catapults. 2)The river is you main weakness. Fortify it. For the attackers: 1)Get to the missile bunkers they will help hit unit clusters when Orange Star starts building. 2)Ally yourselves with the few local townships for increased income and building capabilities. 3)The river is the fortress' main weakness. This LoTR battle is also merged with another comic i was reading hence the 'hidden' missile bunkers in the mountains and the 'hidden' villages in the mountains. The map was intended to be team map hence the much less city/factory count of the attackers and the spread of the villages. Have Fun Playing!!! |

No ground vheicles can get to OS due to the mountains and the river (some weakness that turned out to be) The bases are blocky, the terrain is a bit rubbish (too many plains) and also OS are going to get to the missiles long before the attackers and should have an easy job picking them off one by one |

I have looked at all of your maps, is it possible that you just dont know how to play advance wars? There are guides and things y'know |

Only infantry, mechs, and air units can come close to OS's fortress, all of which can easily be taken out with A-airs, Piperunners, and Stealth. |
