I don't normally put Com Towers on my maps, but then again it'll probably be a few turns before anybody can get theirs anyway. Anyway, it's a naval map with shoal bridges and all that. There'll be a pretty high income by the end of things. In addition to the standard five (CGHKS), Drake, Sami and Sturm should be banned as well. Add Kindle, Javier, Von Bolt, Sasha, and maybe Olaf if you're picky. |

This map is a lot of fun, the "anti" choke points add a bit to the challenge (the spots where the shoals don't run all the way across). It effectively creates a game dynamic of a larger map without using as much space. I would say it's more of a land battle than a naval battle with the few naval ships you build being able to tip the balance dramatically. I'll be curious to see how it plays as FoW. |

excellent map .... very different gameplay ( itried it out in FogOWar) ... its real nerve- wracking deciding which expensive naval unit to buy and when ! Plenty of hard choices here. Not for the feint hearted . As its fairly large requiring patience if you re a newb, i d suggest putting it in your favourites till youve finished 30 games or so before trying it out... which may explain the strangely low days per game statistic and mediocre rating ..... it deserves more ! |

The key to this map is controlling the ten corner properties (5 on each side). I find that whichever side is more aggressive during the capture phase usually comes out with a nice funds advantage early on. All in all this is a great map, as naval units become important later in the game and you see a lot of MD tanks and rockets. I don't think I've had a game on this map go for less than 20 days yet... 10/10. |

I know this is old, but this is one of my favorite "A-Rank *pending*" map on the entire site. Good lord this looks like it plays well. Any map that actually requires me to think about the capture phase is good in my book, and combine that with no real bad choke points, good use of comm towers, the potential for actual naval play, and a Guilty Gear reference to boot...fairly surprising that it isn't rated higher. Oh well. |

In my experience, naval combat does not come into play here, and indirect units will be the norm. FoW is fine, but aside from that, it is a little choky at the shoals. Decent, but not more than a 8/10 |

I agree with xushu, 8/10. |
