This is the second 'Urban Warfare' map I have done and I will most likely be doing more of
them.
I hope it is symmetrical, please tell me if it isn't.
Thanks. =)

I like this one just as much as the other one. 10/10 =D
RedlineM204 (10/07/2007 10:04am):
Isn't that TBTOTA in the middle? (Turn Before The Other Team Advantage)

FTA refers to one player having an advantage over a player after them, it's still FTA.
(plus for this map, RF does in fact go first.)
Anyways.
except for all the stright roads. (terrifyingly linear)
and the uneven starting positions. ( PL gets two mechs and is short an infantry)
The large amount of bases. (32 for a map this size and this many players??????)
8 silo and 8 Com Towers isn't so bad. (although you don't really want silo touching one
another unless there's a really gooed explination for it) (RF and Pl can start capturing their
com towers very early in teh game, much earlier then any other counrty)
You should try to space the airports at least 8 or 9 squares away from each other (this
stops unfair advantages in the air)
Also, does PL really need two HQs? I know it makes it nice and symmetrical, but, it's really
only a hindrance as it's another location where you can be HQ captured.
My final assessment of this map:
I think that RF and PL should be on a team sicne they get access to a lot more property then
the other three countries.
and the other three shoudl be on a team due to placement and coordination. (plus RF and PL
get a ass load of property, like, almost half of the map's property)

It's good, quite a few problems with it, but, it's good. terrain, while symmetrical, is well
placed. (except for the roads and all the property placement)
Joly (10/07/2007 11:37am):
lol, I can't believe I forgot to mention the recommended teams. It is supposed to be RF +
PL vs the other 3.

If you'd seen my other Urban Warfare you might have guessed that. ;-)

Thanks for the comments/ratings guys. =D

I like this map. I think I'm gonna add it to my favorites. ^_^ I'll play on it right now.

P.S.: No PL for me this time...I guess I'll have to go with the second coolest army...GS!

EDIT: Prepare to feel Koal's SUV tires flatten j00...he will own the roads.
Mort_Kawasaki (03/31/2012 04:43pm):
Just noticed this while playing, but it isn't symmetrical.
The barracks close to CI are both on the same column, while AB's are not.
Joly (04/03/2012 11:34am):
Aha, well spotted! I'll fix that as soon as the current games have finished. Thanks.
