A map I had on one of my copies of Advance Wars. It's fairly balanced, and it has some good obstacles while retaining an open feeling. It wasn't meant to be completely balanced either, but that makes it more interesting from my view point. |

BM = needs an infantry on one of their bases to counter FTA (First Turn Advantage) Otherwise, nice. Maybe add a bit more terrain Edit: I did not give that 3, BTW. |

OS has a terrible advantage, they're closer to that second base. Additionally, I'm not liking the forests that don't do a whole lot for the map. Also, the property touching each other is a bit of a no-no. the cities in the middle especially. The straight roads are a little much, might want to break those up a lottle. |

Updated it. It's a little more equal, and a little harder to move, but this is about as far as I'll budge. Oh, and the base difference, if you calculate how far an infantry must move from the closest base, they should both arrive on the same turn... |

OS still gets to it sooner.....8 spaces versus 9. with two starting mechs each, that's not going to solve the FTA. |
