BadFurDay (10/13/2007 08:36am):
The base/city ratio is quite high, add more neutral cities to compensate (or remove some neutral bases), else it would end in a mechflood. Apart from that, it's quite nice. Though all that blank ocean around the island looks visually bad, looks like you could have done it on a smaller map. |

Thank you for your criticism. I replaced the bases at the end of the roads with cities. But normally I have added some reefs around... I wonder why I can see them in the edit screen, but not in the screen now. EDIT: OK, now I see them here, too. |

I'd probably get rid of one of the bases per side. I think you only need 3 per side on a map this size. (with 12 property and a Com tower, you don't want to have 4 of the twelve be bases, that makes it perfect for mech spamming) Possibly add some more bridges to get around, so that the center isn't the only route to travel. Because of that it's a little chokey. (maybe 4 more bridges so that each of the trio of central islands is a route to get from one side to another) |

Done. And I also replaced the mountains next to the HQs with woods and put the mountains near to the other bases. |

Like the change, last time OS had a mountain blocking their base. It's very promising if you ask me, why not try to add on some naval ideas onto the map? Just a suggestion |

A nice suggestion and I thought about that in the beginning, too. But I think that 12k properties per side aren`t enough for senseful naval units, because you`ll have APCs instead of Black Boats. |

When Shadow Star ment placing bridges i dont think he/she ment to put a single one in each river since the single bridges cause a chokepoint in each section. |
