Condescension (10/21/2007 08:29pm):
This map gives a lot of annoying FoW ambushes on purpose, and is designed specifically for FoW play. Defend on one and attack from another, or defend on both fronts while your mechs slip undetected into the enemy base? Chokepoints at the rivers can be circumvented with mechs popping out of forests... all i need is a good FTA-counter, imho. |

I'd add one BM infantry inbetween the two BM bases. That would fit your FTA. spreading out the cities a little might be wise as well. It looks good. Bridges are wide enough for chokepoints to appear but be broken effectively. 8 |

not two, that's STA. just one will do fine. |

sirfuxalot (10/21/2007 08:47pm):
I think the term is "talk small, but swing with a big stick." |
|
Shadow Star (10/21/2007 08:50pm):
..speak softly but carry a big stick. (best reference is to a US president) |
|
JoeVector (10/21/2007 08:55pm):
I think he's making an allusion to infantry sneaking through the mountains and forests, therefore walking softly. |
|
Tyrael (10/21/2007 09:27pm):
It's "speak softly, but carry a big stick" perhaps? |
|
sirfuxalot (10/21/2007 09:43pm):
In any case T.R. had a funny foreign policy. |

AMajor (10/21/2007 11:04pm):
How is this your first day and you've made 3 great maps?! |
|
Condescension (10/21/2007 11:17pm):
I shall rectify the STA immediately. And yes, it was a reference to the presidential line while alluding to Mechs and Infantry sneaking through forests. |
|
Condescension (10/21/2007 11:20pm):
STA recified, cities spread out. |
|
Tyrael (10/21/2007 11:26pm):
Looks pretty fun. 9/10 |

AMajor (10/29/2007 03:41am):
Ah, interesting. You cut swathes right to the bases. This could be good! |
