As with all your other maps, orange star has first turn advantage and this ruins the game
(as in, OS can just go and capture the base near BM's HQ before BM can reach it, and abuse
it to eventually capture BM's HQ and win).

The terrain layout is good enough, a few roads could increase its efficiency for wheeled
units, but, seriously, fix that FTA issue. It totally kills anything in this map. OS
always win, except if it's played by a very bad player.

I am aware of the first turn advantage in my maps, I was actually hoping for some tips to do
something about it... What is generally the best solution? Giving blue moon one infantry? Or
would that give Blue Moon too much advantage?

Depends on the map...

In this map, there is only one starting base, so a start infantry would give BM an
advantage. Such a situation is very hard to balance... the best way would be to give both
players an extra starting base and BM a starting infantry, but that would kill your map's
idea.
Hmm... this needs to be thought through, maybe someone else will come with an idea, wait
for other people to drop comments and hope that there'll be a good suggestion ;)

Glad to see you're receptive, lots of people around like to totally ignore ideas or to
consider constructive criticism as an insult and get pissed.

Basically, all of your maps could be fair with just a FTA counter added. Though that
raises the previous question of how to FTA counter with only one base on each side... :/

I'm happy to receive some feedback, with your tips and later perhaps some playtesting I can
tweak these maps untill they are right.

How about now? I couldn't think of another way to fix the first turn advantage so I just gave
them two bases... Added some roads, got rid of those bases near the HQ's.

Actually now i think you ve fixed it up and see no problem of early win.
Pretty good and original imo.
Its a pity there isnt any decent kind of fta counter for only one starting base... surely there is
something, somewhere?!
Im glad to see BadFurDay giving constructive help rather than the many folk who gave often
incorrect , or sarcastic commentary with no proper explanation, which can make the map-
maker defensive.
