This is another attempt at making a map. So far none of my maps have really been accepted. So for this reason I'm gonna go ahead and say that there is nothing to counter FTA. The reason for that is because FTA isn't that big of a deal, and if you think so tell me what I should do to make it "fair" or "balanced." Other than that I think the course should be pretty fun to play on. Let me know what you think of it. |

FTa isn't a big deal? wow, I've nothign to respond with that except for a Pheonix Wright response.... OBJECTION!!! If OS builds a Black boat a turn ahead of BM, OS can load a turn ahead, move a turn ahead, unload a turn ahead, capture more property a turn ahead, build better sea units a turn ahead, capture the com towers a turn ahead, Launch the Silo a turn ahead, attack a turn ahead. (that leads to an overall edge in the gameplay by the way.) case closed. In all fairness though, If you give OS a starting infantry, and remove one of OS's starting cities and let them capture that. that would do it quite well on this map. the chokepoints are pretty bad on those bridges. and I would like to say that having multiple Com Towers on an island is bad. with 22 property, it's more effective to utilize that airport then use sea units except for Landers. I'd like to see the islands that people are racing to get the Silos launched have some more landing points. (I'd subtract poitns from the Silo, but, I'd only be worried about it if you don't add the above FTA counter.) |

Ok, I made the changes suggested. I have added more coral reefs, added a BM city near OS(however this will give them a bonus 3000g if i didn't dispatch the infantry to capture it on day 2 instead of 3.) I changed those bases on the small islands to cities. What I was trying to do there was to see what people would actually do with them, but cities work too. There is now an air port near everyone of the HQ's. One of the com towers on each of the small islands have been changed to cities. For the heck of it I added another city on the islands with the silos. I also made the center island bigger and with bases and cities on each side. Well I hope this helps, lets see if its any good now. Let me know if what I've done doesn't seem right or something is wrong. |

Alright, I've changed it up again. This time I made the island bigger, fixed the bridge length, and took out my last attempt to counter FTA. Anything else, hopefully this map has taught me the means in which to make a good map at last. EDIT: Oh yeah after playing this map, Sasha is a ban for sure. |
