Very cool idea. Love it!!! |

DrogbaBH (09/29/2005 09:15am):
just move those 2 cities in the top right corner closer to OS. I think you know what cities I'm talking about. |
|
Dullahan (09/29/2005 11:19am):
I think the idea was to balance out turn order advantage. It's probably fine as it is... BTW, now that we have seams, it might be nice to connect the separate battlegrounds. |

trying to make a ds-like map, eh? |

Kanbei s Unlucky Sock (09/30/2005 04:05pm):
It was made quite some time before AWDS came out (or even heard of, for that matter), so it wasn't based off the idea of multiple fronts. :P Regardless, losing at one front is going to hurt a lot, since you have 16,000 total funds at each secondary front. I'm against tossing in seams, since the monetary advantage gained by winning a front should be enough to turn the tide. |

Dennisthemennis (10/03/2005 06:42pm):
bluemoon can just stick rockets on the lower sides of the seam and use it for cover while os has to work its way through to do that |

Kanbei s Unlucky Sock (10/03/2005 09:48pm | Edited: 10/03/2005 09:49pm):
There's bound to be a decent land-air battle going on at the lower front, so anyone who places Rockets near the secondary fronts are going to get sniffed out, eventually. Besides, BM can defend their upper fronts much more easily than OS can, while OS is neatly tucked away in the corners away from pesky indirects. It's to help keep OS's first turn advantage neutralized. Also, can someone tell me why this map has such a low rating? I'd like to know, so I can fix it. |
|
Dullahan (10/03/2005 10:10pm):
Don't worry about ratings. Generally newbies to AWBW will rate maps really low after reading inaccurate comments. That's what happens to me often - some people just don't seem to understand specialized maps. I think it's a great map, although the main front could probably use a few more cities. Otherwise, great work :) |

Xaif (10/04/2005 09:03am):
I personally like this map, really innovative. |
|
Edi (10/04/2005 04:49pm):
yeah nice map, but mass range would be the right answer and the game end in a draw this should be fixed, because 1 airport is not enough i think |
|
Dennisthemennis (10/05/2005 11:55am):
how is an 8.29 low? |
|
ReneDupree7 (10/09/2005 10:51am):
This map is fun I like It huh . |
|
muhaha_ha (10/16/2005 01:16pm):
grit (great) map! hehe |
|
Dullahan (10/27/2005 03:34pm):
It used to be really low earlier |
|
BlitzStrike (11/07/2005 12:47am):
now THAT looks like a donut! =P |
|
Garlyle (11/18/2005 06:05pm):
The only thing that I can think of that would make this a better map would be to have a wider difference between the maps. If Blue Moon sets up a Rockets, OS is prevented from taking those cities at the top of the main front. Yet this is only a minor danger compared to this one: if OS gets rockets up to those cities, BM could be completely stopped from deploying units on one front... |
|
Shadow Star (11/20/2005 06:57pm):
yeah like most comments before me. this map is great. either of the two top maps would give enough of a fund advantage to enable the main map a victory. unless... you spend half of your resources on the main map, and almost all of the rest of your forces on one of the two maps on top, then it could be even more interesting, then you woul,d have equal funds, and both top maps would be won. |

Gerk (03/04/2006 08:41pm):
I wish there was a way to make a true "Great Wall" not even indirects can penetrate... |
|
Starstorm (06/11/2006 09:23pm):
mape a layer of pipes thick enough for Grits Superpowered Battleships to be one square short of hitting. |
|
oomouwmouw (09/23/2006 06:42pm):
aka: 9 space thick block of pipes |
|
Rigel (10/01/2006 11:29am):
Anyone who devotes funds to rockets and recon early in the game will be unpleasantly surprised when the other team has already made and advanced enough units across the secondary front in the absence of adequate retaliation that they no longer need to produce more at their factory. After all, the secondary fronts are almost useless after they are conquered. |

I cant make fun of this map. Amarriner himself has approved of it. |
