It's been a while since I made a map. Before I playtest this, I want the following questions answered: -Have I balanced FTA fairly? -Are there too many production properties? -Is it too closed in? Leave comments please. |

GE and Yc have an advantage over OS and BM. an infantry counter works best when you have 1 infantry per 2 bases. 44 production facilities on teh map is a little high. I'd say that the best action would be to change the furthest out neutral base to a city, and add some shoals on the port islands, and cut back to one port. The airports are in a bit of a problamatic spot as the first person to build a copter can attack the second person most of the times. (meaning move them further away.) I feel as though you could add some more pipe seams leading into the center area as without those it will lead itself to a very tough chokepoint. You could add some more forests, and the roads could be a bit more proper and less straight. It's a very large improvement from your previous maps. |

OK, I will playtest with this. THX for commenting. |

Bm doesn't need a starting infantry btw. also, for aesthetics, you could set the pipes up appropriately with pipe ends. |

Blame Intelligent Systems for not making 4-way pipes. :) |

no, that's not what I meant. I meant when your pipes stop due to a pipeseam, have a pipe end. you can keep the seam, it's just fine where it is, but the pipes that run to the pipeseam but aren't actually connected to it, they could be pipe ends. ..That 10 isn't from me. |

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH. Y'know, I think ratings should be ignored from now on. People can rate the same map multiple times and one can't change his/hers rating. Complete crap. |
|
Shadow Star (11/05/2007 11:24am):
might that be because your previous maps have rather poor standing due to low playability? |

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe. |
