ok, so i know it's alot of travel, but i like the idea of unguarded hq's, the ideas to
make the main play a grab for the middle peninsula where the empty silos are. and yea, you
can make ships, but unless they're landers they're not going far. that's not to say
landers are the only ships worth making! any way, there's a nest egg in the middle,
haven't played this yet so i don't know if it's too hard to reach, too easy, or biased to
any particular player. please, don't rate with out dropping a comment!

Good idea, bad execution. Its unbalanced VIA terrain and there are so many major
chokepoints. It promotes mech spam with the mountains there too. There's FTA, and BM can't
build anything but Landers or Black Boats from their port as the shoals block the others
off. Same with OS, but there is more room to move around there.

there's not any map i'm aware of that doesn't grant the possibility of mech spam when
there are bases. it's inevitable, however, because a transport is needed to attack the
opposing base mech's put you at a disadvantage because they'd take so long to move. yes
there are choke points, with out them it's chaos. it's not so muc a choke point even as
it is the only availible battle ground, and while it is true orange star has more room to
move, that's just as much an disadvantage having more sea to defend and a more open
channel to there HQ.

FTA means "First Turn Advantage" people scream it without stop on this site..If that's what
you weer asking by "what fta?" .I like FTA
counter idea, but some people take it a little far, in so that they think that any map without fta
counter
is 1/10...Still, I like the idea, just not the way the map was made. 6/10 (-2 terrain imbalance, -
1 no FTA counter, -1 chokey starting at 10)

Thank you for being very specific and explaining your rating, but what i meant was, i
don't see how going first gives one the advantage, if it's money, then you'll see what
your opponent's made first and know what to buy to counter it, and if it's first attack,
it's way to long for that to really be a concern.

Oh..No, it's typically a capturing/money/first strike thing all in one. It's not really a big deal, any
way, but it's a good thing to remember on the site (If you play a competetive game with your
buds on the DS and mention FTA, you'll probably get punched, though.)

Well after semi completing and losing the first game on this map: props to RedlineM204,
Mech spam most definitely did happen, the island is very easy to maintain, and near
impossible to siege once occupied, (at least for me). and i was longing for air or navel
support through out the game... that's my critic of my own map... i give it a ... 4... for
looks.
