Saltpeter (11/16/2007 01:22pm):
My first attempt at a naval/aerial-intensive map. Meant for 2 on 2 matches, but it'll work for free-for-alls as well. Each player has 12 properties, enough to purchase a sea lander. I don't advise playing OS/BM v. GE/YC matches, though. OS/BM would utterly crush GE/YC. The neutral port is mainly there in case, in a OS/GE v. BM/YC game, OS or BM would like a port to use, and the airports for GE and YC. |

For better FTA counter, consider making the teams OS & YC vs BM & GE. Therefore, you don't even have to put in some predeployed units, it's auto-fixed by the order players go. Also, BM has no HQ (a com tower instead). |

Oopsie. I did that when I switched YM and GE. But I like your fix for FTA. Makes the map prettier. =D But...then, what if you have a free for all? FTA would be a problem then, because the situation on one shore doesn't affect the situation on the other. Update: HQ fixed. If I switch the teams around, I'd still have to give GE and YC an FTA fix, to prefent FTA in the event of a free-for-all. |

That's an issue about FTA counters - either you design the map for 2vs2, either you design it for FFA, those are two totally different situations. |

Damnation. I wanted primarily for this to be 2 v. 2. I'll change the teams around, then. |
