Centralization=Blarg Spread out the properties, and add a few more mountains. Otherwise you look like you're starting to understand terrain variety |

Needs WAY more neutral properties Most of the map won't be used at all- give people reason to use the outsides (one infantry going to one property one time the whole game doesn't count) or remake the map with smaller dimentions Centralized bases amplify FTA- give each side a center-ish base thats a few spaces off of the symmetry line, or if you make it smaller then just keep it at 2 per side The ratio of plains:other terrain is way too high- look at A-rank maps to get an idea of how to proportion cities and terrain. Also pay attention to how many cities per base they use. Good guide for general hints and tips: http://www.amarriner.com/awbw_forum/viewtopic.php?t=9187 4, 5, 7, 8, and 10 apply the most to this map in specific, but try and have your maps follow all of these guidelines if at all possible. |
