I was bored so I decided to make a pre-deployed map of the eastern front of WW2. I imagine
it's not very balanced in it's present state (I intend to test it), so don't rate yet and
suggestions welcome.

The goal of GS (Germany) is to capture either Stalingrad (north) or the Caucasus oilfields
(south-east corner), probably within some kind of time limit.

red fire wins
maq (11/28/2007 01:06pm):
Care to elaborate?

Red Fire advantages:

1. More Infantry for shielding
2. Better defensive terrain and more cities at start to heal
3. First turn advantage

Grey Sky advantages:

1. Better units. Medium Tanks and Rockets to RF Artillery and Tanks. Air units are fairly
equal.

Does GS need more Infantry? Although they do have Mechs.
Evil Mastermind2 (11/28/2007 02:23pm):
Actually it looks pretty balanced. GS may even have an advantage of it being a little easier to
defend their bases and having an extra fighter.

My problem is that the top right corner looks pretty empty, devoid of terrain, bases and units.
Other than that its a good map, I shall wait to rate the finished version.

Also, I think GS could do with an extra infantryman or two
maq_biggermaps (11/29/2007 02:21am | Edited: 11/29/2007 02:37am):
I gave GS a couple more Infantry and an APC at the bottom. Also moved RF back from the
lower choke point. Also added some more detail to the top right.

Current unit count:

GS:

Infantry: 9
Mech: 2
Recon: 1
Artillery: 0
Tanks: 0
Anti-Air: 2
Rockets: 3
Med. Tanks: 4
Fighters: 3
Bombers: 2
APC: 1
Lander: 1

RF:

Infantry: 14
Mech: 0
Recon: 1
Artillery: 4
Tanks: 6
Anti-Air: 3
Rockets: 0
Med. Tanks: 0
Fighters: 2
Bombers: 3
APC: 0
Lander: 0

That corner loks nicer now.

It looks really interesting to play, Grey Sky have strength but RF have numbers and bases.

i like it, fun one

Those black bombs are Pink, not Red. Fix?
