I doubt there is much FTA and Black Hole is compensated by hiting a base 1st. Who knows there might even be a STA, second turn advantage, since Plyr 2 can observe Plyr 1s moves and respond. In Chess that is called 'compulsion to move'. This battle takes place on an alien methane world where OS is indigenous and BH, the invader, is wearing the gas masks. This is meant to be a complex game of 'Go', the Japanese game where you surround your opponents stones. I suggest 1500 income / turn. There are 52 properties, making 78 K income. Although this might be a good one to test random incomes. ditto COs, I suggest ban Hachi and Colin and make COs 'Random'. I also banned Sonia, Olaf, Grit, Drake, Eagle and Javier. CO should now be random. The purpose of Random COs is to get out of your comfort zone, possibly discover a new CO and to create the atmosphere of a 'strange world'. -Red11 |

Roads are very ugly, there are WAY too many bases, "compulsion to move" is in the game Chess- this is the game Advance Wars. The broken 5 should always be banned- Grit, Colin, Hachi, Sensei, and Kanbei. Sounds like there is a well established dogma, for how many bases there should be. |

The same principles of wargames, apply to all wargames. |

The difference is, in Advance Wars, you can choose to skip your turn. If Orange Star REALLY wanted to copy Black Hole, they could choose to skip their first turn. Black Hole doesn't have this option, they're always going to go second unless OS skips a turn. |

If OS skips his turn, he looses FTA. lol I see your point, but I doubt in this map both players would keep passing. |

Very appropriate title. We should judge the map in light of its title and explanation. This is declared as a non-standard map . .... it is not aspiring to be a serious tourney or league map. Why judge a cat in a dog show.? Those roads are not ugly, they give atmosphere. And yes theres a ton of bases .... this might be a problem if there becomes too many units to move each day. Some high base count maps work ok if units quickly get destroyed ... spam can encourage attacking. A few games would be much more profitable than speculation ..... MAP PLAYERS---- please report below inf spam experiences of this map. Dealing approximately with FTA is no big deal ... just try to give the 2nd player roughly half of what the first player can achieves on the first day. |

Strange world plays fine, I have played several games on it, you have to ban Kanbei and Sensei and probably Hachi too. I got roled by Shifting Shadow in game #1, he played Nell and I Adder (random COs). It was a very strange game with many megatanks, neo-tanks, rockets, tanks, all sorts. |
