Ban the usual 5, Sami and Sturm. Javier is powerful on this map, too.
BadFurDay (12/26/2007 01:02pm | Edited: 12/26/2007 01:06pm):
FTA counter with only one base = STA: BM gets the advantage on OS now

And Javier isn't THAT powerful with only one com tower, 110/110 D2D might seem like a
massive advantage, but your opponent has 110/100 (due to having a com tower aswell) added
to his CO advantages (for example if your opponent is Jess that means 120/100 mechanical
units, or if it is Von Bolt 120/110 for all units which is more than you'll have).

Ploumeur (12/26/2007 01:16pm | Edited: 12/26/2007 01:17pm):
I've changed the FTA counter: OS and BM starts with one infantry, but BM gets his second
base earlier.

In this map, it is likely that the 2 com towers will switch sides. Javier can get a
120/120 versus 100/100 during several days.
BadFurDay (12/26/2007 01:19pm):
Javier will be 120/120, but his opponents will still get their bonuses, which means
they'll be 110/100 with vehicles or 110/110 for all units, etc., the advantage won't be
that big of a reward for all the trouble required to control both sides of the map.

TIME PARADOX
rast2 (12/28/2007 07:35pm):
In practice the map is kinda dumb. the first three moves are almost forced.
Ploumeur (12/29/2007 06:52pm):
The first three moves are almost forced because there is low funds at the start. There is
low funds because it's easier to balance the FTA on such a small map.

Though, the game should be on day 4, 10 minutes after you create it. It becomes more open
after.
rast2 (01/02/2008 04:41am):
if the towers started out owned, the first moves wouldn't be as forced.
Ploumeur (01/02/2008 09:59am):
If the tower started out owned, it would be the same thing, you would jump to the city
next to your com tower.
benbever (04/03/2008 05:44pm):
good map.
there's no need to race for the towers. bm might have a little bit fta, but it's ok and
there aren't central bases/property for it to become a big problem. Nice two fronts with
open center map.
