Made a map real quick if you couldn't tell from the name. It's an expanded verison of "A Bridge too Far" FTA is countered by giving GE an extra infantry and JS already having the third base. The RF ports act as bridges that all units can cross to attack the center island. You should at least ban Sturm and the rest of the brokens, and not let anybody pick RF or they'll have a huge money advantage. |

"and not let anybody pick RF or they'll have a huge money advantage." Uh, why use RF ports in the first place then? |

you could just make then neutral ports |

HosaD (01/06/2008 02:40am):
the point of the ports is so that nobady can capture them to gain money and unit advantages, if i used neutral ports then they could be captured. |

It doesn't really matter. they can still be captured, theyre just property when the games start. all youv'e done is give the first person to change to RF a huge money advantage with ports that can't be built on. |

HosaD (01/06/2008 03:54pm):
The solution is simple. If somebody switches to RF don't start the game until they change. Problem solved. I'm not too sure if ghost units would have the same effect on neutral ports or not tho. Even if you capture the ports you don't get any money for them. |

DuelStriker (01/06/2008 06:32pm):
You can still capture the ports, and after you capture them, you recieve funds from them, even if they have ghost units. Ghost units prevent you from building units and unloading units on spaces with ghost units, they don't stop you from getting funds. |

That sucks. There needs to be a drawbridge tile. Oh well, just don't capture the bridges. |
