My second map. Since it's 1 v. 1, I tried to balance it out by adding in a black boat on Blue Moon's side. I'm not going to bother with the new nations, because I'm so heaviliy used to this, it's not even funny. I put the friendly cities on the opposite sides in order for competition to arise for the center island, which would make up for the cities lost. I have only 2 com towers, so Javier isn't broken. No one on this map is really broken, though, looking at it from a distance... The lab in the center will cause some major competition in and of itself. Once people cap that, they're free to make any unit possible. I gave each side a missle silo, and, because I've got the black boat on Blue Moon's side, FTA is pretty much countered by the extra cash they're allowed. EDIT: I changed the black boat to an extra Mech for BM. I added 2 port islands. I added mountains to create difficult choke-points on the center island. I added 2 com-towers on the opposing islands. |

I would give you a 8/10, but I see you a lot on RI, so 9/10. |

It's pretty good. Better than the other one, that's for sure. However, I think FTA is overcompensated by the black boat, as BM can buy a Lander on turn 2 and get an Anti-Air or a Recon over to the center island to mutilate OS's infantry. The fact that there's only one front in this map disturbs me somewhat, as after a while you won't be able to get any forces onto that center island because it'll be so concentrated by units. You can fix this by adding extra islands on the map, and spreading out all of the properties. For example, making two separate islands that each has a Comm Tower on them will make the map more exciting than having the Comm Towers on the chokey center island--they're more contestable. Adding more land would definitely be better for the map. It certainly isn't bad, though, it's just not as good as it probably could be. 5/10 |

...If it's better than the first game...then why did I get a rating 3 points lower? Also, the center island is not the only front. I guess I should probably add in some sort of incentive on the opposing islands... |

"then why did I get a rating 3 points lower? " I didn't rate your first map. Or, if you're referring to the big picture, it's because we have a lot more 1v1s than 4player maps. Also: 2 Towers per player is usually too much. Go with one apiece. |

It's not 2 Towers per player. It's one, and the two in the center are chokeable.... |
