Don't rate yet please, no FTA counter

NOTE: after games finish, uncrowd middle -- its too valuable and people keep rushing it.
funwes (01/24/2008 06:48pm):
Switch BM with OS so that teams will counter FTA
BadFurDay (01/25/2008 04:35am):
OMG NO FTA COUNTER -10/10

Just switch BM and OS, team orientation FTA counter ftw
rast2 (01/25/2008 05:13pm):
It's going to be OS+GE vs BM+YC for now. If I can't make that work then I'll switch it the
way people have suggested.
Ratatoskr (01/26/2008 04:56pm):
OS+GE and BM+YC fails. Team 1 gets FTA twice. You can't make it work; it doesn't.
rast2 (01/28/2008 08:47am):
Hence BM and YC each getting an infantry...
Ratatoskr (02/01/2008 06:16pm):
Except now you might have created an advantage by putting them both on the same side. You
took the effort to edit it, why not edit it properly?
rast2 (02/05/2008 10:06am):
Not so; consider this game as two 1v1 matches on the same map, each with the standard 1v1
FTA counter:
OS vs BM
and GE vs YC
The standard FTa counter isn't always a good balance, but if we assume it is in this case,
OS+GE is fairly balanced with BM+YC.

Ratatoskr (02/10/2008 03:28pm):
The part that's weird is that on the right, BM and YC both get effective first turn
against OS. Then on the left, GE gets first over YC but not BM. So considering the sides,
BM and YC get an advantage.

Just edit it so the teams are the usual OS+YC vs. BM+GE, no need to break what isn't broken.

Mech flood ftl
rast2 (02/14/2008 09:08pm):
Rata, good point. I'll move blue's infantry over to the top left as soon as I can edit
the map.
