Here's a map I stumbled upon, looking thru my files. I can't actually take full credit for this map, I remember getting it from someone long ago, I sat and played it on the DS and it was a whole lotta fun, at least with computers. The idea is that you have bases scattered across the islands, and because funding is low, you must decide whats best to defend and best to purchase. Further, each player starts with 2 Subs and 1 Lander to create some intrigue. This adds lots of dimensions: Sink enemy landers, enemy subs, use subs for recon patrols, etc. Losing subs or landers is a hard blow, as they are costly to replace on this map. Everything is spread out so this should make an interesting battle... Fog of war, of course, is recommended. I'd ban Kindle and Hawke. Happy Hunting! =) |

cool looking map. Looks like the Mekong in Vietnam. And very interesting concept. Not sure if I'd play on this map but I respect it. Maybe I would. Chokepoints aren't a huge problem because so mmuch land around the sea to see hidden subs. Demon, do you think it would be a better map with some airports? 10/10 |

Fog of war should be recommended for every map! |

tmassing never thought of that...air units would prob upset the balance of this map, since they can move anywhere. the idea here is that the fronts are very spread out and you have to allocate funds carefully to each arena. |

I think this looks like candyland sucks to me, I will check it out and add it to this reply before I click submit. http://www.danielthomas.org/pop/videogames/awmaps_01_pix.htm Yep it is. |
