I think you messed up a little bit on Texas. Although, to be honest, they're basically Mexico
anyways, so it's probably okay that you blended them together.

I would add a Mississippi, or at least an Ohio, river. And the mountains are a bit much. Maybe
move some of the mountains to the east to form the Blue Ridge Mountains? It would be more
realistic and a better playing map I think.
